By late afternoon you feel worn out, so you rest. But if what you're feeling is soreness, rest is exactly the wrong medicine.
Two different signals
Tiredness is mental — your attention is spent, and a break genuinely helps. Soreness is physical strain from holding position, and it eases with movement and support, not with sitting still longer.
- Tired: rest, step away, look at something far.
- Sore: move, stretch, fix the support.
- Often you feel both — treat each on its own.
Fix the cause, not the symptom
Persistent soreness usually points at the setup. Better support during the day beats trying to recover from it every evening.
